Harry Hall is a consultant for the U.S. Department of Defense. He saw Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C. and commented on the show.[Harry Hall, U.S. Department of Defense Consultant]:“What I see that is special is that all of the participants have much in their heart and they really feel how well they are doing. And so you can see that in the performance. The great belief in what they think and what they do, and how they show that.”Mr. Hall says he appreciated each performance.[Harry Hall, U.S. Department of Defense Consultant]:“All of it kind of comes together in the story. Each little piece is like a chapter in a book. So each little thing as you read the chapter, each chapter has a special place. So if there’s one thing special I believe it’s the total performance, how it’s pulled together.”Mr. Hall has walked in Tiananmen Square, and after seeing Shen Yun’s performances about present-day China, he says he is familiar with the feeling of living under the watch of an authoritarian regime.[Harry Hall, U.S. Department of Defense Consultant]:“I think that this would be a great opening for all the people to show that the overpowering political system is not the system they have to live with. But the system within themselves and sharing and caring for the world, I think would be a marvelous opportunity. If they would let you do that”NTD News, Washington, D.C.
